Christmas Presents needed - Stuffed Animals for Tots

We are gathering as many stuffed animals as we can before Christmas to donate to needy children on Indian Reservations in the southwestern states. Let your generosity touch the heart of a child this Christmas and donate new stuffed animals or ones that are in very good condition. Wings of Faith flies these stuffed animals into remote areas before Christmas.

House of Mercy Camp Meeting, Bishop CA

Pete and Rhet went to the annual Camp Meeting at House of Mercy Church on the Paiute Indian Reservation in Bishop CA on 9-8. There was a hunger for God's touch as Pastors from Indian Reservations in the southwest gathered to praise, pray, and share a message of hope and healing. We were so happy to connect up with our friends, Pastor Stan, Pastor Dave, Dale, Ellen, Shawn, Lori, Pastor Bruce and Kathy, Pastor Kenny, Debbie, and many others.
Little baby "Feather", Stan's 13th grandchild, was dedicated on the last day of Camp Meeting. What a joy! The food was fabulous and the servers were so helpful. As we shared the trials of life that hit us and the ways God supported us, there was an atmosphere of hope that rose up to encourage our hearts. We lifted our voices in praise and prayed for each other with great expectantcy. Thank you all for making our second Camp Meeting in Bishop an amazing experience.

Airventure and Mission Aviation

AirVenture in Oshkosh WI was a wonderful experience for Rhet of meeting new friends from all over the world who have dedicated their lives to missionary work and meeting the pilots that help to support them in remote areas. The host families and MASA support team were so helpful and made it possible for mission aviation organizations to tell the public about their missionary work and the people they reach out to. Dale and Alan with Wings of Faith and WOF East, based in southern California and North Carolina, made the time fly by. Thank you so much Barb and Eric Johnson for opening your home to me, and thanks to Erin for helping me in so many ways. What a great opportunity to support missionairies and mission aviation!

Mission Aviation at AirVenture

AirVenture 2011 is the world's greatest aviation celebration - July 25-31 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The world's largest airship, Zeppelin, will be there, and the largest gathering of naval warbirds from all areas will be there, the world's only airworthy B-29 will be there, and Rhet will be there assisting at the Wings of Faith mission aviation booth. Hundreds of thousands of people will be coming to this event that will have 10,000 airplanes and 800 exhibitors including various mission aviation organizations that are ready to show the public the missions and disaster relief work they are involved in globally. MASA, Mission Aviation Support Assoc,. is supporting missions aviation organizations from all over the U.S. as they share their vision at AirVenture 2011. This is an exciting opportunity at the world's greatest aaviation celebration!

The Narrow Way Bible Study for Inmates

Have you ever wondered how your famly would respond if you ended up in jail because of your bad choices? There are thousands of inmates in Orange County CA who are in that situatin and are searching for answers. The Narrow Way volunteers help inmates by mailing correspondence Bible lessons to these people who are in difficult circumstances. Their response is that they receive strength, and their lives are changing in positive ways.

Water From the Rock supports this vital outreach in our communities and many other outreaches that are touching hearts and changing lives of hungry children, broken families, and discouraged people around the world because of your generosity. We appreciate your prayers and financial support as we bring the love of God to others who are hurting and in need. Thank you for your support! Let's do this work together.

AIRVENTURE Oshkosh WI, Wings of Faith and Water From the Rock

Wings of Faith is a mission aviation fellowship that reaches out to help impoverished people on various Indian Reservations in the southwest and to share the Gospel with them. Dale Whinery, founder, has had a booth at AIRVENTURE for many years and represents Christian mission aviation and its vital role in global outreach. Water From the Rock supports Wings of Faith in their ministries, and we are excited to make new friends as Rhet goes with other Wings of Faith representatives to AIRVENTURE in Oshkosh WI to assist at the Wings of Faith booth among other Christian mission aviation organizations and many secular aviation organizations. AIRVENTURE is an annual gathering of aviation buffs who come from all over the world to see exciting air shows, hear the roar of the engines, and explore the latest in aviation. Summer Camp Meetings on Indian Reservations

In the summer our friends on the southwest Indian Reservations hold tent church meetings, or Camp Meetings, as some folks call them. They come from near and far, from many tribes and tongues to praise God and tell about what He has been doing in their lives. It is a time of encouragement and renewal. Several of the upcoming tent meetings are scheduled: the 26th annual Eskey Family Camp Meeting is in June hosted by Pastor Kenny's church in Black Rock AZ, and another Camp Meeting is at Pastor Stan's, House of Mercy Church in Bishop CA in September. Last year Pete and Rhet attended the House of Mercy Church Camp Meeting, and it was a very special time of refreshing and praising God with our wonderful friends on the Paiute Indian Rez.

House of Mercy

Rhet and Pete were invited by Pastor Stan Summers to minister in the new House of Mercy Pentecostal Church in October 2009, and we had a wonderful time with our dear friends as we praised God together. Pastor Stan sent a thank you saying, “We greatly appreciate the love and prayers you folks have given (us) since our first meeting…”. WFR continues to support this church - please pray for them to grow and shine as a light to all the Indian Reservations.
